Locks up

It works ok for a couple of days, then it will lock up and I have to reboot and lose my game progress. The last time I was almost at the end, ready to finish and it locked up. Im tracking the ads its running when it locks up. Kroger seems to want to ruin the game. Does it do this on the paid version? Id imagine it doesnt since it is the ads that lock the screen.
